Nine Weeks ‘Til 9/11: Bob Delaney

Last year ENEW FILMS began exploring people’s thoughts, feelings and opinions on being a decade removed from the attacks on September 11, 2001. While the work behind the camera and in the editing room is still on going ENEW FILMS is releasing eleven interview vignette’s featuring some of the interview subjects and dynamic content gathered along this memorable journey. This features the one and only Bob Delaney. Bob works with military personel both domestically and abroad along with 9/11 first responders and survivors who suffer from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Simply put he is an American Hero.

Special thanks to editor Dan Hirshon, directed and produced by ENEW FILMS.

NBPA Turkey Drive in Harlem

Each Thanksgiving the NBPA (National Basketball Players Association) makes sure residents of Harlem who are currently struggling have the opportunity to receive a turkey for Thanksgiving, rain or shine. Despite the lockout going on at the time the NBPA still did right by the people of New York City.

NINE WEEKS ‘TIL 9/11

This past year I shot, produced, directed and am now currently editing my first documentary film, NINE WEEKS ‘TIL 9/11. This film is a social commentary about being 10 years removed from the most significant day in our countries history since Pearl Harbor. With over thirty interviews conducted in nine weeks many themes emerged thanks to my interview subjects. From memories of that fateful day, to positive movements in response to the tragedy, to where we are as a city and country 10 years later Nine Weeks ‘Til 9/11 serves as a voice for many Americans that have not yet been heard.

Fieldston Eagles 2011: Unfinished Business

The 2011 Fieldston Eagles: Unfinished Business from Eric Newman on Vimeo.

This is the team film I produced for the 2010-2011 Fieldston Eagles Varsity Basketball Team. Fieldston won 18 games and finished 2nd in the Ivy League this past season before their season ended in the state playoffs. With four seniors graduating and nine players returning Fieldston is primed for an even better 2011-2012 season, where they will hopefully address their Unfinished Business.
